Mimmo`s Restaurant in Mechanicsville

Been here multiple times before... usually a great place to grab food after my daughter finishes practice at a nearby gym. Last night I stopped in to grab dinner as we had done many times before. After waiting 25 minutes, the guy working the front desk told me they forgot the put the pizza in the oven. After waiting 40 minutes for a pizza and calamari, we finally had what we came for and left. When I got home, my wife opened the calamari and it was cold, and a ridiculously small portion for the price they charged. I don't think we'll be returning here for a while.

Bread had mold on it, shrimp was rubbery, my caprese salad came with no dressing, eh.

Just ordered doordash about an hour before closing so wasn't expecting anything spectacular. The food was AMAZING it honestly tasted like they waited until the driver got there to make it, it was so hot and fresh when it got to me. We ordered two subs, bread was soft and warm, perfectly toasted not soggy at all and a perfectly proportioned amount of toppings. The cheese fries we're the freshest I've ever gotten from delivery or even Togo in general, they we're hot crispy but not hard, soft but not soggy, cheese was still hot and stringy and mixed all the way through, not just thrown on top. To top everything off all the food was packaged very neatly and included silverware napkins and ketchup. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back. (Also added special requests to each sandwich and they were executed perfectly 👍)

Food was good ,but they messed the order up.

It's a shame that it isn't as busy as it has been in the past, but it's still a great Italian restaurant for the whole family to eat at. The pizzas are phenomenal, the sandwiches are top notch, and the service is very friendly and warm for every customer that walks in the door. Over all, I wish that it pick up on business, but other than that, great food and service for the whole family.

Buyer Beware!!!! I ordered for delivery through a reputable delivery service and my order was wrong. The restaurant said the delivery company called and changed the order. Mimo said order through his website for delivery from now on. Today, ordered through his website and my food never came. I got a verification code. Mimo said it’s a fraudulent website and this happens to his customers. This is not true. I’ve contacted my bank, the service who gets paid through MIMO’s website (legit company and website), and filing a police report because Mimo said his restaurant is the victim. I’m covering my end. He has all excuses. He back pedals when he is questioned with facts. I do NOT recommend MIMO’s

It took a little longer for delivery but the food was hot and delicious not many places can make chicken marsala so I also ordered a stromboli and both were awesome!

Easy to find. Nice shopping center. Well lit good parking. Decent cozy atmosphere. Friendly owner and staff. They aim to please! Stick to their core items and you should be satisfied. The pizza, calzones, cheese steaks etc were A OK. Better to search out some fresh seafood elsewhere. Clean bathrooms. Good prices.

Delivery was fast and prices were decent. My company and I opted for their white pizza; it was very greasy. We were also forced to add another item to even reach their delivery requirement. The other item we added was their garlic bread. It was bad, but was very dry.

Order pizza at 430 PM. Took 25 minutes because the person who answered the phone couldnt figure out how to ring up the order. Told it would be about 45 minutes. At 556 pm get a call from the driver because they cant find the address on their GPS. Odd you delivered to us before no problem. 625pm still no pizza. Called in ad was told "well I just came in to do MY job. I will have a manager call you when they decide to come back." Now you tell us you have no idea when a pizza leaves your location or any way to get in touch with your drivers? Funny, they just called us on his cell phone, why dont you have their number? Even Little Caesars has a pizza checkout process to see when someone picks up their pizza and their pizzas are only $5. Not a good look. You need to pick up your game. Pizza that is delivered 45 minutes after it leaves your shop is not acceptable at all. Something needs to be done about this!

Great food

We ordered a carry out pizza from Mimmo’s about 45 minutes ago. The girl taking the order seemed new and was struggling to complete our order. When my husband arrived, he said she had given our pizza to another customer. She was then berated in front of him by a man that came out of the kitchen. My husband waited while another pizza was made. I was eating my first slice of pizza, once he got home, and a hair was in the cheese about halfway through the slice. My husband called Mimmo’s to inform them and the owner didn’t seem concerned at all. He simply stated “no one here has beards and I need to see a picture.” Well here is the picture and we will allow you to guess where the hair came from.

READ THIS!!! This place is the best pizza place in Hanover!! You can order by the slice and there big slices of pizza. The service is very good and family like and fast. The owner always likes to talk to the customers and making sure everything is good. You also have to try the fried ravioli!! I know it sounds like I work there but I dont . I was tired for the same old pizza places in Hanover until I found this place. GO DONT THINK JUST GO!

I always enjoy eating at Mimos or stopping by to pick up a pizza for home when I want to watch the game.

The staff are friendly and always helpful. The food is always delicious.

My first pizza experience was a great one. I am usually on a strict eating program. But I decided to indulge. I love Italian food. So when I had to opportunity to try Mimmo's I went for it. It was the best pizza I've eaten in a few years. I generally don't eat pizza from popular chains. I always love trying family owned restaurants. My 14" sausage and pepperoni was delicious! I would suggest giving Mimmos a try.! Friendly family owned!

Alfredo sauce tasteless, had better from jar. Waiter recommend. And he wasn't much better, if he could have stayed off his phone he would have known my fresh coffee was ready. Guess he was in the weeds, with only one two top. Will never go there again.

Food is always delicious. If it’s delivered on time, or the correct order is delivered. Seems to be the only problem. Getting it right and on time.

One of the Best Pizza places around.

Great food, fast friendly delivery, large portions, and amazing pizza. We just moved and needed delivery the first night we were in the our new house. Our friends told us about Mimmo's so we gave it a shot. We have now ordered delivery three times in the first week... Well worth trying if you haven't yet!

Average pizza, terrible garlic bread (my kids can make better) and the customer service is the worst. Ordered pizza online and it took over 3 hours to be delivered and it was wrong. The manager could care less. I don't recommend.

Delicious and friendly staff

We order Mimmo's pizza to go all the time. Plus a dinner salad. It is yummy and they have quite a variety. We also go to the restaurant and like it a lot for a casual meal. Best Italian in town. The service is good too. We recommend it.

The website linked on Google is apparently not their website, or at least it doesn't actually send orders to them. Fine, technical problems can happen... But they were very rude and left me to deal with it myself.After placing a separate order, this time over the phone, they delivered cold pizza.

Service was great

We've had good luck with our dining experiences here contrary to some others. You will be satisfied with their steadfast tried and true Italian favorites. We were even impressed that when our office lost power near by they stayed open with limited generator power and a limited menu yet it was more than enough to satisfy our hungry staff who had no electricity for heating or storing food in our office.

I went in there and none of the staff was wearing masks. That's right people handling the food were not wearing masks at all.

The most delicious pizza simple and wonderful. Still on of my favorite pizza places.
